Albert FAZAKAS
Albert Fazakas received the M. Sc. Degree in Electronics and Telecommunications in 1996 and the Ph. D in Electronic Engineering in 2006, both from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Since 1996, he has been in the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications, and Information Technology at the Bases of Electronics Department, where he is currently an Associate Professor, teaching FPGA design, Microcontrollers and Analog Integrated Circuits. He was also working at Digilent Romania, subsidiary of Digilent inc. US, as Senior Design Engineer. Projects were targeting FPGA development board design, especially microprocessor systems implemented on FPGA through EDK and Vivado designs. He was also visiting professor at the HAMK University of Applied Sciences, Finland, Forrsa unit, where he gave lectures in the field of Circuit Theory, CAD, Embedded Systems and participated in international projects targeting Embedded Systems. His research interests include FPGA Systems, education in Electronics, renewable energy, and computational intelligence.
