Sorin Adrian HINTEA

Sorin Hintea was born in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, in 1961. He received the M. Sc. degree in electronics and telecommunications in 1986 and the Ph. D. in electrical engineering in 1997, both from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Since 1989, he has been on the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology and Basic Electronics Department, where he is currently a Professor. He was a visiting professor at the Technical University in Dresden, Germany and Technical University of Graz, Austria, where he gave lectures in VLSI Digital Systems. His main research interests include designing digital integrated circuits, VLSI systems, computational intelligence and biomedical engineering.
